Hundreds of volunteers lined the route to help spectators and ensure the Tour de France passed through Sheffield without a hitch.

Volunteer Tour Makers were stationed along the route at crossing points and obstacles, as well as at key transport routes to help the hundreds of thousands of race-goers.
