Loxley's law podcast: Civil Partnership

In December 2004 the Civil Partnership Act came into force. What rights does it give?

Matt Lucas from Little Britain was one of the first celebrities to enter into partnership, to then seperate from his partner, Kevin McGee, only a year and a half later.

In this podcast Martin Loxley, partner and head of family law at Irwin Mitchell in Sheffield, explains the rights and responsibilities a civil partnership brings.

Loxley also looks at how a civil partnership can be brought to an end, and the grounds and procedures for dissolution
