What rights do a father have to decide school and religion for his children?

"When a couple are married both the husband and have what's called parental responsibilities, and that comes autiomatically," said Martin Loxley, partner and head of family law at the law firm Irwin Mitchell in Sheffield in a podcast about fathers' rights.

"If the couple are unmarried then, unless certain events take place, the mother has parental responsibilities, the father does not have parental responsibility," Loxley continued.
