X Factor 2010 winner Matt Cardle is headlining Meadowhall Shopping Centre and Hallam FM's outdoor Christmas Light Switch-On Charity Concert on Thursday 3rd November

LAST year’s X Factor winner, Matt Cardle, will add sparkle to the Christmas lights switch-on ceremony at Meadowhall next Thursday.

The singer, whose debut single When We Collide was number one last Chrsitmas, is headlining a charity concert that also includes singer Tinchy Stryder, pop dance outfit SixD and Bajan four-piece Cover Drive.

The concert, hosted by Hallam FM breakfast show presenter Big John, will also feature local hip hop theatre company Rationale.

Tickets costing £2.50 and restricted to eight-year-olds and older are on sale via www.hallamfm.co.uk, with proceeds going to Meadowhall’s charities of the year. Children aged from eight to 13 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Meadowhall director Darren Pearce said: “We’ve got a brilliant line-up again this year and we’re sure people will have a great evening watching the entertainment and helping us to raise money for Helen’s Trust and Cash For Kids in the process.”
