MIKE and The Mechanics return to the spiritual home of some of their greatest hits with a concert at Sheffield City Hall on Saturday night.
And The Star is celebrating with VIP hospitality and tickets to be won.
The city’s own singer-song writing legend Paul Carrack left the band in 2006 but he gave his distinctive voice to some of their biggest hits including Over My Shoulder and The Living Years.
Now, following a six-year hiatus and a massive reunion with Genesis, founding member Mike Rutherford is touring again as Mike and The Mechanics - but with a different line-up, including Andrew Roachford, one of the UK’s most successful R&B acts of the 1990s and Canadian born singer and actor Tim Howar.
Fans will get new songs and all the hits, which helped the original 1984 formed band to sell over 10 million albums, including Silent Running, All I Need Is a Miracle and Word of Mouth.
Guarantee your seats - tickets are £35, may be subject to a booking fee. Buy in person, by phone on 0114 2789 789 or online at sheffieldcityhall.co.uk
