FASHION fans flooded into the Frenchgate Centre as bosses rounded off style celebrations with a catwalk show.
The centre had been showcasing trendy clothes with in-centre activities from some of the best known fashion, beauty and make-up retailers in town.
Centre manager Amanda Phillips said the live fashion event featured all of the latest autumn and winter fashion lines, being displayed from the towns top retailers.
“We wanted to create an exciting event that everyone who has an interest in fashion could appreciate,” said Amanda.
“We have some fantastic fashion retailers, both inside and outside the Frenchgate shopping centre, so we felt it was time that Doncaster celebrated this in a big way.
“It is definitely something that we hope to do again.”
She said staff at the centre had been extremely excited all week in the run-up to the event, and described it as an amazing showcase of fashion.
Staff from Mode magazine were also involved in the show on Saturday.
The catwalk was assembled inside the main corridors of the mall.
Models strutted their stuff along the length of the walkway, showing off the latest looks.
And the event attracted a large crowd of fashion-conscious onlookers.
Many crowded alongside the catwalk to watch as the event went ahead.
