The Climbing Expert Night with Ian Parnell, who has climbed with the best, including Everest with Sir Ranulph Fiennes, is next Friday, January 28. Living in Millhouses, he recently took over as editor in chief of Climb Magazine and will give an illustrated lecture on climbing and mountaineering photography, including advice on how to take better pictures.
A Caving Expert Night with Robbie Shone is on February 4, then the following Friday is Running Expert Night. Finally on Friday, February 18, it will be the turn of Hayfield-based Nick Craig, multiple national champion in both mountain biking and cyclocross, who has represented Great Britain in the Olympics both on and off-road.
Each event starts at 8pm and lasts about two hours. Tickets cost £7.60.
The Sheffield Adventure Film Festival runs from March 4 to 6.
