Al fresco cinema was the order of the day when special movie screenings took place on the roof of a Sheffield car park.
The Village Screen Pop-Up Cinema held its first events on the top of Q-Park, Castlegate, in the city centre , ahead of a further outing at Hathersage outdoor pool next Friday and Saturday. Claire Hunt, from organisers Village Green Events, said the screenings ‘went really well’.
“The views of Sheffield and Park Hill flats from the rooftop were stunning. We’re currently planning Halloween and Christmas events too.”
Back to the Future, the Full Monty and Dirty Dancing were shown at the car park. The Little Mermaid and Titanic are being screened in Hathersage.
