SIX motorists were caught driving without their seatbelts during a crackdown by police and other agencies.
Derbyshire Police worked with vehicle examiners VOSA and HM Revenue and Customs for the road safety blitz which took place in Bakewell, Derbyshire.
They pulled over cars and checked drivers had the appropriate documentation, their seatbelts were on and their vehicles were road worthy.
Six motorists checked at Bakewell Agricultural Business Centre were not wearing seatbelts and one driver was pulled over for using a mobile phone.
HM Revenue and Customs tested more than 80 vehicles for illegal fuel and 23 vehicles were stopped for car defects.
VOSA issued seven prohibition notices to drivers who were told to have repairs carried out and their vehicles officially inspected before driving again.
