Police investigations are underway into a spate of thefts from works vans in Sheffield.

Vehicles have been targeted in Greenland Drive, Stovin Drive, Coleridge Gardens and Clipstone Gardens, Darnall.

South Yorkshire Police said property had been left on view.

Officers are also investigating break-ins on Gleadless Bank, Gleadless; Alder Lane, Handsworth; Surbiton Street, Attercliffe and Dannemora Drive, Attercliffe.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “There is still evidence of unattended vehicles being targeted in the Handsworth, Littledale and Darnall.

“The offenders are stealing small items like loose change and dash cams. Please try to remove any such property from your vehicle when unattended.”
