STAFF from Evolution Print will be swapping overalls for biking gear to support Weston Park Hospital and Sheffield Children’s Hospital on September 9-10.

STAFF from Evolution Print will be swapping overalls for biking gear to support Weston Park Hospital and Sheffield Children’s Hospital on September 9-10.

The company are inviting riders to join them in creating a continuous loop around the city in one 24-hour effort. Starting at 6pm on the Friday night, riders can complete as much or as little of the clock as they wish, taking in the East End and out to Rotherham in the evening, followed by tthe Peak District the following day.

More than 20 riders have signed up so far but the team welcome anyone who would like to join them.

Helen Gentle, fundraising officer at Weston Park, said: “We are extremely grateful to Jason and the team at Evolution for organising such a huge and exciting challenge. Every penny raised from the 24-hour charity bike ride will make a huge difference”.

David Vernon Edwards, charity director and Helen’s counterpart at the Children’s Hospital, said: “Evolution have a long history of supporting our hospital and this new initiative is one that we’re looking forward to taking part in too.”

After the event on the Saturday night there’ll be a celebratory drink at the Rose and Crown, Stannington.
