Public meeting in Firth Park

residents wanting a say about life in the Firth Park area of Sheffield are invited to a meeting of the North East Community Assembly next week.

The meeting is to be held at Firth Park Methodist Church, Stubbin Lane, on Tuesday, September 11, from 6pm to 8pm.

There will be a question and answer session with local councillors and a report will be given by South Yorkshire Police.

Members of the public will be able to find out what’s happening in the area by chatting to representatives from agencies and organisations including Sheffield Homes, Sheffield Council’s parks department, Southey and Owlerton Area Regeneration and Concord Sports Centre. There will also be information about adult education classes.
