The search for missing Chesterfield man Barry Shaw has entered its second week.

Spireites fan Mr Shaw was last seen leaving his home in Hall View on the morning of Friday, May 8.

The 44-year-old was due to catch a bus to work in Sheffield but he did not arrive and has not been seen since.

Police are concerned for his welfare.

Mr Shaw is about 5ft 9in and described as being well built.

He was wearing a green shirt, dark trousers and a coat which is red on the front and dark on the back.

It is believed he may have a tent with him.

Police are appealing for information on Mr Shaw’s whereabouts and want to hear from anyone who may have seen him.

Anyone with information should call Derbyshire police on 101, quoting incident 32 of May 9.
