An article claiming to have found the 'worst road in Sheffield' generated wide reaction from the city's residents yesterday.

Speaking on Tuesday, residents of Deerlands Avenue in Parson Cross said their street was the most badly surfaced in Sheffield and said they felt like the city's 'forgotten' relations.

Reaction to the article from readers of The Star included comments such as 'Hartley Brook Road is much worse', 'Bellhouse Road is just as bad', 'Wadsley Lane is very poor', and 'the roads in Crookes and Walkley are a complete joke'.

Does your street have potholes of petrifying proportions? Send in your photos to alice.evans@jpress.co.uk.

One reader added: "Leamington Street in S10. The last time it rained, ducks landed mistaking the potholes for a pond."

The Star is calling for its readers to send in photos of potholes in an attempt to find the worst in the city.
