A DETERMINED beauty queen who narrowly missed out on the Miss England crown is having a second stab at seizing the coveted title.
Jaime-Lee Faulkner, 22, was a runner up in 2010 but is back and has her sights on the crown this year.
She qualified for a place in this year’s final after winning the Miss Modelzed beauty competition.
Jaime-Lee, of Rotherham, said: “I have got what it takes to be Miss England and I believe in chasing a dream.
“My motto is - if at first you don’t succeed, then try and try again until you do.
“I have been working hard to improve my overall performance, fitness, physique and confidence so that I can give the best performance possible.”
There are 60 other regional finalists in the four-day competition.
They meet in Birmingham on June 23 with the last two days in Leicester. A winner will be crowned Miss England 2012 on Tuesday, June 26.
