RUNNERS took to Sheffield’s city centre to limber up for tomorrow’s Great Yorkshire Run.
Sisters Pauline and Annette Neita, from Sheffield helped to kick-start the fun ahead of the 10km race. The pair, who have taken part in the event every year since 2007, were joined by race organiser John Maycock whose 3,000m British indoor record was broken by Olympic hero Mo Farah.
Members of the Concord All Stars, who will be performing live on the course at the race as part of the Bands on the Run festival, were also present at the Peace Gardens launch. Last minute entries for the event will be accepted in the Winter Garden between noon and 5pm today.
