This is the moment Richard Campos finished an indoor-rowing stint covering the equivalent of one million metres (621 miles.)
The retired Norton, Sheffield business consultant, 62, finished the epic event at Woodlands gym, Dronfield, this week. He raised £1,800 for Arc, the antenatal charity.
Six feet eight inches tall Campos, who suffered a rib complaint during the rowing, said he was satisfied but tired at the end of the event. He’s now organising a 24-hour marathon row with a ten-man team.
