OINK! Drama students at The Sheffield College are making a pig’s ear out of their latest show - Babe the Sheep-Pig.

The first-year actors, on a BTEC course at Norton College, have been touring primary schools with the production.

People can also see the show on Monday and Tuesday, at 7.15pm, in The Crucible Studio Theatre, Sheffield city centre, as part of the Sheffield Children’s Festival.

Caroline Fojut, drama lecturer, said: “The production is suitable for children aged four and older, and tells the well-known tale of a courageous piglet’s extraordinary adventure.

“After Babe is won by Farmer Hoggett at the village fair, they develop a special friendship, and with the help of his new ‘mother’, the old sheep-dog Fly, Babe soon learns the herding instinct.”
