PUPILS have opened a special new Sheffield shop – packed with goods linked to the London 2012 Olympics.
The youngsters from Aston Academy opened the outlet at the city centre’s John Lewis store – one of 27 opening around the country.
The second-floor shop will showcase more than 300 official London 2012 products, ranging from official mascot sticker sets to collectable commemorative coins and stamps.
Souvenirs ranging from London 2012 pin badges to biscuit tins and T-shirts are among the items on sale.
Official London 2012 mascots, Wenlock and Mandeville items are also set to be popular, including plush toys, key rings, pin badges, bags, figurines and bookmarks. There’s also bedding, toy buses, pens and calendars.
