Society pedals up awareness of charity event

Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind held its own Tour de Yorkshire at its Mappin Street centre.

Staff, clients and volunteers took turns pedalling on exercise bikes to clock up 200km - the distance of the York to Sheffield leg of the Tour de France.

The event was to raise awareness of the charity’s Sheffield Stays In event, which starts on July 6 and encourages people to throw a party at their home or workplace to raise funds for SRSB.
