THE Sooper Troopers – a charity that enables people aged from 16 with a disability to take part in any aspect of putting on a show – took to the stage in a church hall in Forbes Road, Hillsborough.

A 30-strong cast aged up to 72 performed a series of varied musical routines, paying tribute to heroes as varied as Lady Gaga, Shirley Bassey, Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra.

The Troopers each have different types of learning difficulties.

The show was also the last to be produced by volunteer Kim Bloodworth, who has been involved with the group for the 20 years.
