Daredevil Nigel Hague has wing-walked on a plane thousands of feet in the air in a charity stunt for Save the Children.

The 86-year-old father of former foreign secretary William Hague wore his Christmas jumper for the daring feat on a Boeing Stearman PT17 Kaydet.

He said: “Skydiving and wing walking is something everybody should do before they kick the bucket, it puts a spark in your life.” Inset is Nigel, left, with 79-year-old David Powell, who did a sky dive.
