Sports services guide launched

Sporty types and fitness enthusiasts now have a one-stop shop to learn about what sessions are available to them in a new guide.

The North Derbyshire Sport and Physical Activity Directory 2012 has been jointly produced by Bolsover, Chesterfield and North East Derbyshire councils.

It provides an A-to-Z rundown of what is on offer, from walking and jogging to cycling and team sports to activities in leisure centres.

As well as listing what activities are available, the guide also aims to promote the many sports clubs and organisations in the area with contact details.

Copies of the directory have been distributed to all schools.

They are also available in council buildings and leisure centres or from the councils’ websites.
