A Sheffield schoolgirl is on a high after being selected to represent Great Britain at the World Junior Climbing Championships.
Pippa Watkin, aged 13, will travel to Arco in Italy to compete in September.
The Bradfield School pupil has been climbing since she was six years old.
She made her GB debut in May in a European Cup event in Dornbirn, Austria.
The youngster trains upto four times a week at local climbing walls - usually at The Foundry in Sheffield, where she first learned to climb as part of their Saturday morning club, or at Awesome Walls, also in Sheffield.
Reacting to her GB selection, Pippa said: “It was the best moment of my life. I still can’t believe I have been selected to take on the best in the world.”
