Sheffield has been highlighted for its beer in a guide to 52 places to go around the world by the New York Times.
Yorkshire is 22nd with a reference to it becoming “a big destination for beer lovers”.
“Spend an evening crawling through the Fat Cat, the Kelham Island Tavern and other award-winning pubs in Sheffield - recently called Britain’s best beer city by the connoisseur Adrian Tierney-Jones,” says the newspaper.
For the sake of balance, it should be noted that pubs in Leeds and York pubs are also mentioned.
The best place to go in the world? Cape Town.
