As part of the ‘Big Tidy Up’ campaign the Friends of Woodfield Park rolled up their sleeves this weekend.
Residents of all ages came out in force to clean up the woodland trails through Woodfield Park, Balby.
Enthusiastic volunteers armed with litter pickers, giant bags and wearing high vis vests managed to collect over 20 bags of rubbish which left the trails looking spick and span for the hugely anticipated nice weather.
Lisa Wilkin from the Friends of Woodfield Park said: “It was great to see local people out working together to make their community a nicer place to be in.”
