The Botanical Gardens will provide the backdrop for three theatrical performances this summer.

Heartbreak Productions returns with Shakespeare’s Macbeth from July 3 to 6, Peter Pan and the Lost Boys from July 11 to 13 and Pride and Prejudice from August 21 to 24. All shows will also have a Saturday matinee at 2.15pm.

Peter Pan will incorporate local belly dancing group Bella Shimmy and rapping and skateboarding group A Mind Apart.

Maddy Kerr, who directs a cast of five in Pride and Prejudice, said: “Sheffield is the most popular city destination on the tour and we have always had a great crowd there which really heightens the performance.”

Tickets cost £13.50 (adult), £11 (concession) and £9.50 (child). A limited amount of covered seating is available for £3 extra. Visit www.heartbreakproductions.co.uk.
