BBC Look North presenters Harry Gration and Amy Garcia got on their bike to raise more than £125,000 for Sport Relief.
The pair completed a ‘Tour de Yorkshire’ on a tandem, spending eight days riding the Yorkshire stages of the Tour de France.
They battled driving rain and high winds during the 250-mile challenge, which ended at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield. The pair was welcomed by the Sheffield Steelers ice hockey team.
Harry, who suffered severe back pain in the latter stages, said: “It’s been amazing, and is something I never thought I would achieve. There have been highs and lows, but it’s been exhilarating and exciting too.”
Amy said: “It’s been incredibly hard work, but I’ve loved every minute and the crowds and the money they have given make it all worthwhile.”
