Motorcyclist fighting for life after crash in South Yorkshire

A motorcyclist was critically injured in a crash in Doncaster.

The 38-year-old, who was riding a white Honda motorbike, was involved in a collision with a white Ford Fiesta at the entrance to the Asda car park in Edlington at 4.25pm yesterday.

He suffered life threatening injuries and remains in hospital today in a critical condition.

The 27-year-old-man driving the Fiesta was not injured.

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: "Officers are investigating and are very keen to speak to the drivers and, or, passengers in two dark coloured vehicles - one waiting to leave the car park at the time of the collision and the other entering just after, as they may have witnessed the incident and could help with the investigation."
