A motorist died in a car smash on a Sheffield road.
The 54-year-old, who has not been named but is from Sheffield, was driving a maroon Vauxhall Vectra when he was involved in a collision with a silver Nissan Note, driven by a 74-year-old man, also from Sheffield.
They collided on Moss Way, close to the junction with Drake House Crescent, Drakehouse, at around 4.45pm on Thursday.
Police said the Vectra driver died of his injuries and the other motorist was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “Police are investigating the incident and would like to hear from anyone who saw either vehicle prior to the collision.
“The Nissan was travelling in the direction of Eckington Way and the Vauxhall in the opposite direction.”
