Joe Dunn, aged 66, of Grenoside, will parade his grandfather’s war medals for the first time in an Armistice Day march to the Menin Gate in Ypres in Belgium. The medals acknowledge the bravery of Louis Kossuth Mason, who fought at Ypres, and died in action, aged 39, in 1917. Joe said he would have “a tremendous sense of pride”.
