UPDATE: Man charged after being found with air pistol in Sheffield city centre
A man arrested for carrying an air pistol through Sheffield city centre has been charged.
Armed police from the Sheffield Central Local Policing Team rushed to the scene at 3pm yesterday and arrested Lloyd Walsh.
The 20-year-old, of Mathers Court, Darnall, has been charged with possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and possession of a Class B drug. Walsh appeared at Sheffield Magistrates' Court today.
