Diamond dog Denzel does not need much polishing – he is a people-orientated Sheffield pet looking for a home.
Denzel, who is aged about five, was taken to RSPCA Sheffield due to welfare concerns – and now this ‘handsome hound’ needs a new owner.
Tony Benham, of RSPCA Sheffield, Stadium Way, Attercliffe, said: “There are a lot of misconceptions about rottweilers, perhaps because people have used them as guard dogs. Denzel is a happy, gentle giant with a great personality – he is a firm favourite with staff.
“This bouncy, lively, lovable character enjoys the company of people and he easily brightens up everyone’s day.
“He seems to get on very well with other animals too.”
Denzel lived with another dog, cat and children of various ages at his previous home.
Tony said he needs at least two 40-minute walks a day and would respond well to food-orientated training.
He said: “Denzel is a real pleasure to be around – a gentle soul who loves to be groomed and getting out and about.
“He interacts wonderfully with people and this handsome hound is desperate for a fresh start.”
