Police and fire crews have been called to a flat in a Sheffield suburb this afternoon where they found a man's body.
A police cordon has been put up around properties off Lowedges Road, Lowedges, near the junction with Chesterfield Road south.
Fire crews were pictured on scene at about 1pm, pictured accessing a first floor flat via stepladder.
Police were called after concerns were raised for the safety of a man at the property.
The body of a man, aged about 40 to 50, was found at the scene, but police are not treating his death as suspicious.
A spokesman for South Yorkshire Police said: "At 12.54 today police were called following concerns for the safety of a man at a property close to the junction between Lowedges Road and Chesterfield Road in south Sheffield.
"The body of a man, who is believed to be aged in his forties, was found at the scene and confirmed to have died by paramedics.
"At this early stage there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances."
