Staff at a Sheffield animal centre are looking for a home for a ‘cheerful’ and ‘fantastic’ dog called Trixie.
RSPCA Sheffield said the German shepherd has gone through some bad times and needs somone to give her a second chance in life in a loving, forever home.
The branch said Trixie was underweight and had puppies, some of whom had died, when she was brought to the their centre on Stadium Way, Attercliffe.
Tony Benham, RSPCA Sheffield branch animal care manager, said: “Trixie is a delight to be around.
“She’s a cheerful, happy little soul who interacts wonderfully with people.
“We would just be delighted if we could find this fantastic dog that loving home she deserves.
“Trixie would fit well into most home environments.
“She’s a German shepherd, aged about three, who just needs someone to provide love and continued training.
“She has no known health issues. Trixie needs a home environment where she can settle nicely and leave the life of kennels behind her. She loves exploring and she adores people.”
n The centre is open daily. from 12.30pm to 3.30pm, except Wednesdays, when it is open from 5pm to 7pm. For details or to meet Trixie, call 0114 289 8050.
