Classic cars and vintage vehicles will descended on Chapeltown in Sheffield for a special event organised by youngsters.

Members of the Boys’ and Girls’ Brigades of Chapeltown have been organising the Chapeltown Classic Christmas event since 2004, raising hundreds of pounds for good causes.

Cars and vintage vehicles will be on show in the Sinemaster car park on Burncross Road, on Saturday, December 6, from 10am to 3pm. Entry is £5.

Visitors will be able to come in from the cold and look around a Christmas fayre featuring charity and craft stalls in Chapeltown Methodist Church, Nether Ley Avenue.

Refreshments will be available throughout the day and a pie and pea dinner will be served from noon to 1.30pm.

Money raised will be shared between Sheffield Hospitals Charities, The Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Riders for Health and the Boys’ and Girls’ Brigade in Chapeltown.
