BLUEBELL Wood’s new charity furniture shop has been officially opened by Rotherham United manager Steve Evans.

Fundraisers at the children’s hospice hope the new second-hand store on Sandbeck Way, Hellaby, will help them raise the £3 million they need to stay open each year.

The Millers boss said: “Bluebell Wood does fantastic work supporting young people with life limiting conditions and we are delighted to support them.

“We would encourage everyone to back this new shop by donating and buying furniture here.”

The store opens Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 4.30pm. Call 01909 517360 for details.
