Christmas is nearly here - and to celebrate Profile magazine has a stocking packed with luxury prizes worth almost £1,000 to give away.

The magazine appears in this week’s Sheffield Telegraph, published on December 8, and details of how to enter are inside.

Prizes to give away include meals at acclaimed Sheffield restaurants, show tickets, a hotel stay and the exciting second Sheffield Cookbook.

Sheffield Cookbook: Second Helpings

Make dishes from your favourite local restaurants and champion local suppliers with the sequel to the first Sheffield Cookbook.

It features a vast collection of stories and recipes behind some of Sheffield’s finest food producers, restaurants, café bars, growers, gastro pubs, farm shops, and delicatessens.

We have three of these cookbooks, worth £14,95 each, to give away.

A pair of tickets to every classical concert in Sheffield International Concert Season 2016-17 at Sheffield City Hall from January.

This includes a total of eight brilliant concerts from world class ensembles including The Hallé, Bergen Philharmonic and Royal Philharmonic Orchestras.

Highlights next year include appearances from some of the greatest British conductors currently working, including Sheffield’s own Ryan Wigglesworth, and international ensembles such as the Tchaikovsky Symphony and Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra

A stay and meal for two at Brocco on the Park

Stay in this award-winning boutique hotel’s signature bedroom, The Dovecote room, named in honour of the former boarding house’s most famous guest, Picasso.

Love aplenty has been lavished on this blissful balacony bedroom with its views of both Endcliffe Park and town, as well as a luxury free-standing copper bath with LED mood lighting, king bed and monsoon rain shower.

The value of the room is £170 per night and the meal in Brocco’s delightful restaurant is for two people.

A meal for six and two rounds of drinks at Sheffield’s latest restaurant, The Botanist.

The award-winning The Botanist in Leopold Square has proved incredibly popular since it opened in the Grade II listed building.

Botanical cocktails, a vast selection of world famous beers and ales, and a handpicked selection of gins as well as a choice of food inspired by the deli, rotisserie and BBQ, which are all on offer at the newly opened venue - which has been transformed with stunning decor and features live pianists.

Talented chef Jon Tite leads the kitchen at this independent cinema and cafe. This prize is for two people at a vegetarian night - Jon himself is vegetarian - with five carefully prepared courses.

This prize is worth £64.
