Around 50 firefighters and 10 appliances were called to the fire on Foley Street in the Attercliffe area of Sheffield on Sunday, around 2.30pm.

Emergency crews were still at the scene today.

Firefighters fought to get as much water onto the seat of the flames as fast as they could, using water from rivers and canals.

They also used their most powerful jet - later calling for a second one from Nottinghamshire Fire Service.
