During the holidays we took the grandchildren to see a film at the Centertainment complex. The car park was jammed and, like many others, we could not find a bay, so we parked where we could without causing an obstruction. On our return – a demand for £80 and threat of legal action was stuck to our windscreen (and to many others).

If Centertainment think this is the way to encourage customers, they must be crazy. The whole complex is laid out for car-borne customers, so if parking cannot cope, that is Centertinmanent’s problem.

They should be sending out staff to help pack in more cars, not penalising customers.

I will not be back in a hurry.
