Our recent survey shows that 79% of workers in Yorkshire and the Humber are failing to get the recommended amount of exercise each week.

This is worrying as statistics show that at the current rate of waistline expansion over a third of men and over a quarter of women will be obese in just five years putting them at increased risk of high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes and heart disease.

That’s why we’re asking everyone in South Yorkshire to start getting fit and healthy during the working week by joining our Health at Work programme. It’s free to join and the benefits of making small changes to your daily regime can have a huge effect on your heart health.
