Boy, 10, hurt in car crash

A TEN-year-old boy was take to hospital with slight injuries this morning after a two-car collision on Queens Road.
He was a passenger in a blue Toyota Avensis which was in collision with a white Rover 414 at the junction with Duchess Road at about 6.20am.

The road was reopened less than an hour later, said police.

Yesterday afternoon a motorist had to be cut free from a car after a collision with another vehicle in Derbyshire.

Fire crews cut the casualty out of the car on the A616 at Barlborough following the incident at 2.34pm.
