SHEFFIELD groups can enter the Dragon's Den and bid for money to spend in their communities.
The competition is one of many activities at the Sheffield Homes' 2008 annual conference.

Over 200 tenants and residents will be attending the conference on Tuesday, September 2 at the Cutlers Hall.

The 'dragons' will include Sheffield Homes, V
eolia and Decent Homes partners Wates, Keepmoat, Henry Boot Construction, Lovell Partnerships and Kier.

They will be investing big money in the best pitched community projects.

Projects include the Crafty Carders who meet to knit booties and bonnets for premature babies at Jessop's Hospital and the Upper Springs youth project.

The conference will also include workshops, free tours of the Cutlers Hall, prize giveaways and customer feedback sessions.
