THIS violent sex offender who was released on licence from prison is wanted by police after he disappeared from his Sheffield home nearly a month ago.
Edmund, aged 73, is classed as being a "high risk" to the public, especially vulnerable adults, and has convictions for sexual and violent offences.

Osmond – who is known to wear a short, strawberry blond wig – was released on prison on life licence, which has now been revoked following a breach of the conditions.

Edmund has not been seen at his home address in the city since September 17.

He is white, 5ft 10ins tall, of stocky build with a reddish complexion. He has blue eyes and short grey hair which is receding. He wears glasses for reading.

A police operation involving neighbouring police forces is under way as Edmund is known to visit Leeds and Nottingham.

Anyone with information should contact police on 0114 2964509 between 7am and 4pm or 220 2020 at other times.
