Injured biker recovering

A BIKER who suffered multiple injuries in a road smash in Sheffield was still recovering in hospital today.
The 29-year-old was riding a black Kawasaki motorcycle near The Timbertop pub in Shiregreen when he was in collision with a white VW Transporter van.

He was today described as being in a "stable and comfortable" condition in the Northern General H
ospital.

The smash happened at 8pm on Sunday on Shirecliffe Road.

The driver of the van, a 36-year-old local man, was uninjured.
