Staff at a Barnsley bakery have been given political praise for helping their business improve.
Rosie Winterton MP, Minister for Yorkshire and the Humber, visited Fosters to see how the family-run bakers uses skills and workforce training.

Fosters, which is based in Mapplewell and employs 245 people, is committed to investing in staff development through education and skills training.

Bakery managing director John Foster is one of a team of business people in the region who have signed up to the Business Ambassadors' scheme, which Ms Winterton launched this summer.
