Man hurt in gang attack

A ROTHERHAM man had surgery to reconstruct his face after a vicious attack left him with a broken nose and jaw.
The 22-year-old from Thorpe Hesley was hospitalised after being attacked around five men as he walked away from the Woodman public house on Flanderwell Lane, Woodlaithes.

He was followed from the pub and when the gang caught up with him on Elton L
ane he was verbally abused before one of the attackers punched him in the face, knocking him to the ground.

He was then repeatedly kicked in the head

Two 16-year-old boys and a 19-year-old man were arrested and quizzed before being released on bail.
