A MUM whose two young sons were killed in a blaze at their Sheffield home has moved back into the house - almost 12 years to the day after they died.
Sue Willis lost sons Ricky, aged seven, and Kyle, three, when a chip pan fire gutted her home in Wybourn House Road, Wybourn, in 1996.

Now Sue, 42, her new husband Ian, 38, her two daughters Nikita, 18, and Sophie, 12, and stepson Jason, 11, have moved back into the property after it was completely renovated.

Today Sue told The Star: "I am absolutely over the moon to be back. All the neighbours have been coming out saying, 'Welcome back'.

"It feels like I have come home, I just feel so comfortable and relaxed."

On the night of the tragedy Sue, then 30, and called Sue Parkin, tried desperately to rescue her sons as they slept upstairs but was beaten back by smoke.

She described passing her nine-month-old daughter Sophie to safety and said: "People were screaming for me to get out. I wanted my children. I wanted to get them out."

Sue said today: "I miss my boys every day and have done from day one. That's something I will have to deal with until the day I die. But I'd like to think, if they are looking down on me now, they are thinking, 'Mum's happy now, she's back where she ought to be'."

The house was one of several renovated and remodelled by Parkway Housing.
