OLYMPIC diver Leon Taylor is used to taking the plunge, but his trip to Magna took him to new heights - of fear.
The Sheffield-based Athens silver medallist tackled the Awesome Foursome challenge at the science centre, culminating in a 150ft bungee jump in semi-darkness.

Leon, an ambassador for the 2012 Olympics, shot down a zip-wire, abseiled and floated on air over a power fan. The event raised £250 for charity Heart Research UK.

Leon said: "Being involved in synchronized diving meant a gruelling and restricting schedule. Since retiring I have been able to participate in even more exciting challenges without worrying about injury.

"I've done the world's highest bungee jump in South Africa and I'm a bit of an adrenalin junkie. When I heard about the Awesome Foursome it was too good an opportunity to miss."
