A FELL race, parade of foxhounds and a display by search and rescue dogs are among attractions at Derbyshire's top sheepdogs trials.
Longshaw Sheepdog Trials, which run tomorrow, take place at Longshaw Pasture, in front of Longshaw Lodge, near the Fox House Inn on the Sheffield to Grindleford road.

Taylor&Emmet Solicitors of Sheffield, is the main sponsor of the event and one m
ember of staff will be taking part in the fell race, organised by Dark Peak Fell Runners, on Sunday of the competition.

This year marks Longshaw Sheepdog Trials' 110th year and the association now boasts members from across the UK.

And the trials are also welcoming their first overseas competitor - who will be representing Sweden.

Visitors will also be treated to a parade of foxhounds and a demonstration by the search and rescue dogs from Edale Mountain Rescue team.

Anthony Long, Taylor&Emmet's chief executive, said: "We hope this year's Longshaw Sheepdog Trials are the best yet."
